CTRA said that thanks to the generosity of event sponsors they have been able to reduce the price of tickets from $85 to $50 — while still being able to keep their sights on raising $15,000 for some much needed repairs. CTRA executive director Jill O’ Neill said that the name of the event that will be held at Duncan’s Providence Farm not only stems from the rebuilding of community after the tough times of COVID, but that the proceeds raised will literally go towards mending the fences, and some building upkeep at CTRA.

Ladysmith singer-songwriter Ryan McMahon, and Vancouver born Chris Andres will be providing the entertainment.

Doors open at 5 p.m. and attendees will have the chance to partake in barn tours starting at 5:30 p.m., before the music gets under way at 6:30 p.m. Concert-goers will also have the chance to pre-order charcuterie boxes from Mensch Kitchen and Catering with proceeds being donated to CTRA. There will be a mix of food trucks, as well as a bar, and a raffle where attendees can win some awesome prizes including the first prize which is a five foot chainsaw carving donated by local carver Tyler Cochrane — valued at $1,500.

“Our hope for the evening is that the community comes out to our facilities, learn about our programs, meet our amazing staff and enjoy an evening of music,” said CTRA executive director Jill O’Neill. “If we are lucky enough to have a beautiful evening, the beauty of our valley will also be enjoyed.”
