In a decorated gym in front of family, friends, teachers, and loved ones, Lake Cowichan School's Class of 2024 officially graduated Saturday afternoon.
In their caps and gowns, beautiful dresses and stunning suits underneath, each and every one of the roughly 30 graduates was honoured both individually and as a whole in the memorable ceremony emceed by principal Jennie Hittinger.
The graduating class of 2024 includes Kaylen Andersson, Megan Bell, Elliot Burdge (valedictorian), Carson Campbell, Carter Conran, Arabella Costello, Lara Court, Alexandra Devlin, Caly Downs, Sterling Hall, Elly Hamilton, Presley Hartmann, Jake Kelly, Brayden Knippelberg, Viejo Krahn-Puff Abby Loewen, Mason MacPherson, Tyson McGonigle, Zulma Michel, Lexi Murchie, Kalan Nicholson, Daniel Ross, Elyssa Sahulka, Dylan Sawatzky, Conor Simpson, Tyler St. James Balmaceda, Kayden Stump, Wyatt Thompson-Wrobel, Hanna Torrie, Olivia Youmans and Marty Zalinko.
