I’ve slipped away from a very busy schedule on a glorious Sunday afternoon, to report to everyone at home about the work this local elected official has been doing during this hectic week at the Federation of Canadian Municipalities Conference in Halifax.

Welcome! We are delighted to have everyone participate and share in the 60th Annual Cowichan Lake Days, hosted by chairperson Bob Day, and his committee, who have worked long and hard to organize another exciting program this year.

Lake Days is upon us! The dedicated volunteer committee has been busy since January planning and preparing for Lake Days 2011 - The Beat Goes On!!!

You’ll be hard pressed to find anyone that disagrees with Hazel Beech being named freeman of the Town of Lake Cowichan. She’s been helping Cowichan Lake area citizens for as long as most people can remember.
